What Is Kling 3.0 Turbo

Kling 3.0 Turbo is Kling AI's fastest video generation model in the Kling 3.0 family. Designed for speed and throughput, it delivers high-quality cinematic video clips in seconds. Key capabilities include:

• Text-to-video — Describe any scene with up to 2,500 characters and generate a 3–15 second video clip
• Image-to-video — Provide a first-frame reference image and animate it with a text prompt
• Multi-shot storyboarding — String up to 6 individually prompted shots into one seamless video (total up to 15 seconds)
• Flexible aspect ratios — 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 (ignored when a reference image is provided)

Model Variants

Standard — 720p, Fast Output

Pro — 1080p, Cinematic Quality

Both variants support the same API parameters. Upgrade from Standard to Pro by simply changing the model ID in your request.

Multi-Shot Storyboarding

Kling 3.0 Turbo introduces native multi-shot support, allowing you to define an entire video narrative across multiple scenes in a single API call. Each shot has its own prompt and duration:

Up to 6 shots are supported per request, with a combined duration cap of 15 seconds.

Image-to-Video

Use image_urls to set the first frame of your video. The model will animate from that image guided by your prompt:

Note: aspect_ratio is ignored when image_urls is provided — the aspect ratio is determined by the reference image.
